This “Cevicheria” concept is brought by Gaston Acurio, with no doubt the most important promoter of the Peruvian gastronomy. This brand successfully runs restaurants in Lima, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Miami and San Francisco. In Lima it is very popular amongst locals and tourist alike with a huge menu that includes 10 different cebiches and 8 tiraditos along with another similar number just of cold appetizers. If you are craving for cebiche and what to indulge into a wide variety of this signature Peruvian dish, La Mar is probably a good option. However, we strongly recommend you save some space for the hot dishes that include a great variety of combinations of seafood and fish with rice and pasta, as well as grilled whole fishes.
Gaston Acurio is strongly committed with sustainability and therefore fish and shellfish vary according to seasonality and availability. The concept of catch of the day is a key element in this proposal.
